Therapy for Teens
Being a teenager isn’t always easy. Between school, friendships, social media, family relationships, big emotions, and the pressure to figure out who you are, it can feel like a lot to manage.
As a former school counselor, I understand the unique challenges adolescents face and work to create a space where teens can feel comfortable being themselves.
I help teens navigate:
Anxiety and stress
Low confidence and self-esteem
Emotional regulation and big emotions
School and academic stress
Friendship and social challenges
Family conflict and life transitions
Depression and difficult emotions
Trauma and PTSD
My approach is personalized to each teen. Depending on their needs, therapy may incorporate EMDR, coping skills, mindfulness, emotional regulation strategies, and practical tools they can use in everyday life.
